Songwriter/Composer Current Affiliation CAE/IPI #
HICKS TAYLOR BMI 515428955
LITTLE ALAN CLARK BMI 569001847

Here's a comment about this song I found from THIS BLOG -

"...I know the guy who wrote Wedding Day with Taylor. His name is Allen Little, a great song writer from Muscle Shoals, Alabama. I have heard the song, it is one of the best songs I’ve heard. it is about one hell of wedding crash. I think he has put a lot of time into this album. Him not being under the Idol roof anymore really excites me...."

And another from THIS BLOG ....

"...I have heard nothing but awesome things about this upcoming album. i hear that Wedding Day Blues is about a major wedding crash and is a very smooth song. Should be a hit...."

Let me remind everyone that there's only 30 days left before this album drops!!! It's going to be one of the greatest CDs in my collection - I'm convinced.

I just LOVE Taylor and can't wait for that GREAT little ol' CD to be released. I feel so lucky that he'll be doing a CD signing here in Los Angeles. I WILL be there March 10th to get a copy or two signed. I SOOO want to hear that CD!!!

I'll also be seeing Taylor that night at The Pantages for Grease!!! March will definitely be the best month, since I also have tickets to see him TWICE live at the Belly-Up Tavern in Solana Beach and The Roxy in L.A. I look forward to meeting a lot of his fans! We ALL know Taylor will deliver the goods!!!

Cheers everybody! CHEERS!!!

Great find Griz! Man, this just keeps getting better and better. I cannot wait to hear this song (and all the others).

I am going to Grease in San Fran and will be getting tickets on Monday for Cafe Dunord (which I hear is an awesome intimate venue). Seriously considering going to the Roxy too (6 hours away). Who knows when we will see him perform again after this tour. Gotta go to as many shows as possible.

California is definitely where the action will be in March and April! Yay!!!!

Way to go Berney. I think you should definitely hit the Roxy. I'm am actually thinking about SF myself. He'll also be in Costa Mesa. I hope he finds a venue in that area for another "shadow".

That CD is going to be a winner!!!

WOOOOOO!!!!!!

Oh, and thank you Griz!

I hope this album really shows who Taylor is as an artist as opposed to American Idol folks showing us Taylor as a puppet show. He deserves all the best in his career. Good for him going out on his own to do things his way. He knows himself better than anyone else does. I predict we will receive raw soul out of "The Distance". I have seen a fair amount of hype over this new album and that Wedding song, I can't wait to hear that one. March 10 can't get here soon enough. Go Taylor Go!!
