On The Set With Taylor Hicks From His Video Shoot!

"....We’re out of the snow of the windy city and in the warmth of the edit. Since a lot of you were asking for behind the scenes photos I thought I’d give you just a little taste. I’ll get in trouble if I show you too much. Taylor was a real class act and a real pleasure to work with. The video is going to be really iconic. I’ll keep you posted…..."

Jake Davis, the director of Taylor's new video for his song "What's Right Is Right" gave us a picture straight from the set in Chicago (which they filmed on January 12). Taylor looks absolutely friggin' gorgeous, I must say! Hopefully the video will be ready soon! Remember, the song is available on Tuesday, Jan 20 from ITunes. Go get yourself a copy!

I will definitely be getting my copy of the new single from iTunes on Tuesday! I can't wait!!! I know I'll be playing it ALL day!!!

Taylor does look great in that photo (but what else is new?). It does look like they darkened his hair. I guess we'll know soon enough when the video makes its debut. I hope there'll be A LOT of fanfare when it premieres. It can't be soon enough for me!!!

I really don't think they darkened his hair. It's just the lighting or lack of it. When he's under bright light his hair color seems to really lighten up. He really looks good in black so I hope he's wearing it and the picture looks like he is. It may even be shot in black and white.

Unfortunately, the news of the day is the single has been pushed back one more week until the 27th. Frustration is the word of the day for me.

Thanks for NOTHING Taylor!

Can he EVER be firm with a release date?
That's a good way to lose some fans!

If pushing a single back 1 week is enough for some fans to lose interest, well... I don't really know what to say about that...

I suspect, and I don't know for sure, is that he wants to release the single and the video together and will do that on Jan 27. It's also possible that the availability of the album to pre-order will also happen on the same day. Kind of like a triple whammy.

I must be in the minority because it's doesn't bother me at all that I have to wait another week for the single. Big deal.

I'm sure Taylor and his management have a specific reason why. We as fans have to be patient, and I know I will. When it's ready, it's ready and not a moment before. :)

Well, if it's media coverage they are looking for, they won't get it on the same day all the press is focused on a new President, so waiting a week will give it more possibility of media and radio coverage. I actually was worried about the date for that reason, so I am glad to hear the date changed. However, I can't wait to hear the whole song. This time, we will push this song!

What's one more week?
It will be that much sweeter.
