Make Sure You Tune In To Taylor At Talladega!
On Sunday, April 27th, Taylor Hicks will take the microphone at Talladega Superspeedway to sing the national anthem before the NASCAR Aaron's 499 Sprint Cup Series race.
Taylor is no stranger to singing to big crowds, but 175,000 fans at the race and millions more watching at home makes for a special occasion for any singer! Tune in to Fox Network at 1:30 pm ET (12:30 pm CT) to catch Taylor honor our nation at one of the biggest sporting events of the year.

Taylor Hicks and Nascar!! A redneck girls dream!! I watch the races every Sunday. I have been to Talladega once to watch the race. It was a party for 3 days! Knock'em dead Taylor!!!!!!

My BIL and family are all going to this race. Best part is that they all took us to the KY Speedway (our first time)for the concert last July and I am excited they are going to hear him again--because they rib me like crazy and my neice is on the verge of becoming a fan. Hopefully the whole family will start to widen their musical sphere.
Over at the boogie board on other artists thread it said Toby Lightman is doing a concert that day...she has the song for NASCAR,too...she was Taylor's opener last spring at a couple concerts....Maybe Taylor will sit in with her and do that duet they talked about...hmmm

So i started the tour with Taylor Hicks a few days ago and i must say.... i did not know what to expect, but this has got to be one of the best tours i've ever been on. His fans are so great! it's such an amazing feeling to have so many people come over after the show to pick up a copy of my record. Thanks to everyone! And just giving a little tip on a possible duet that we've been talking about:)[/

cochem - I wonder what ever became of that duet with Toby? I'd love to hear something like that, eh? Perhaps on the next album?
I like that picture of Taylor standing in the middle of those hotties. It just makes him look hotter (if that's possible!)
