Griz..........what took you so long????? (SMILE)

This is fantastic for Taylor. You can't pay for this kind of exposure!! With $7,000 seats there PLUS the lawn, Taylor will be picking up many more fans. They won't know what hit them.

GREAT for "us" to get the chance to see him before he starts touring the new CD.

I already know what hotel I am staying at! lol

Griz - I REALLY do hope this show comes out your way. I think more info will be available soon on that. If not, it MAY be worth that plane ticket. :-)

YES..............I do know how lucky I am to be living on the East Coast. I have been on cloud nine ever since hearing about this last week. It was "almost" too much to take directly after talking to Taylor on the Finebaum show. ALMOST! lol. Lots of great questions asked by everyone.

I do hope there are plans to take this show around to some of the amphitheatres this summer. I would love to see this. VA is a little far to go at this time. Maybe they'll make a DVD.

Taylor just keeps on getting gigs. That's great.. the anticipation just keeps building.

Julie,

Since you live so close maybe you can answer this for me. If I was to fly out to the concert which would be the closest airport and how far is it from the airport to where the concert is?

Hi Jewell -- there are two airports -- Reagan National considered in Washington, DC but actually Arlington, VA (about 22 miles from Wolf Trap); or Dulles Airport in Dulles, VA (about 10 miles from Wolf Trap).

Lots of hotels/motels near either airport and if you give me a call -- I may be able to pick you up if you stay in a Dulles airport hotel!!!

Cheers!

Griz: I hear that Simon was his usual a*****e self last night on Larry King!

I am seriously thinking of flying out for this concert. Before Taylor Hicks was even born, I was a big Moody Blues and Todd Rundgren fan. Maybe we could get a pre-concert group together.

I sure hope so Julie! You are so lucky to be so close to Wolf Trap! We went once when we lived in DC for a year and it was a gorgeous setting...
::Chanting Riverbend.Riverbend. Riverbend.::(In Cincy-also a lovely pavilion/lawn setting on the Ohio-where the boats pull up for a "free"concert:)and a very short drive from my home!
